With our love of interiors we've had abit of fun and put together a mood board using some of our favourite Australian brands for kids furniture and accessories.
Sometimes it can be hard to visualise how colours and decor can work together, so creating a mood board is a fun and easy way to plan the style & theme of your kid's room. You can also use sites like Pinterest to plan your rooms, where you can create boards and save links to the products you like, making it really easy to go back and find them.
Interior styling doesn't have to be intimidating, especially for kids rooms where you can have abit of fun. It's about selecting pieces that you really love, after all they're going to be a part of your home for a long time!
Investing in quality pieces that they can keep as they grow older is always a good idea. We've designed the quilt cover to have a bolder, younger side featuring beautifully illustrated pandas, while the reverse (or front - you decide!) is a simpler design of handpainted watercolour bamboo leaves.
Soft soothing greens can be layered & accessorised with bright pops of colour like we have done here. Neutrals like black, white & greys in the bigger items keeps the room looking classic, while also making it easy to update with different accessories in the future.
